For improved pressure distribution on the sternum, the “Rope” short and long girths can also be pulled through this belly plate. The inside of the belly plate is made of memory foam, a kind of soft gel that adapts to uneven surfaces. Cartilage or small bumps are thus relieved as the unevenness is pressed into the foam and the pressure shifts. After use, the memory foam returns to its usual shape.
