A leather hackamore is a nice alternative to a traditional bit for the horse who responds better to pressure points rather than a metal bit in his mouth. The nose and poll are controlled using the pressure of the reins and headstall to control the horse. This leather noseband is lined with a soft cushion to keep the horse comfortable. The shanks are stainless steel for durability.
