Knee patch riding breeches for children are particularly popular among show jumpers, as they provide more freedom of movement. The trim or silicone grip is only on the knees, so that the rider can get out of the saddle easily when jumping and has a good grip in the right places.
Thermal breeches & winter breeches to protect against the cold are particularly advantageous in winter. Children tend to get cold more quickly, or forget that they are cold. With lined winter breeches for children you will be on the safe side. Despite the inner lining, winter riding breeches do not restrict movement, unlike, for example, when thermal underwear is worn under normal riding breeches.
