Yet the uvex elexxion MIPS is not only lightweight and superbly ventilated, but also impresses with its good fit and MIPS. The idea behind the extensively tried and test Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) is to avoid the rotational forces generated in a fall being transferred to the head. Instead, they are dissipated by the motion of the MIPS inner shell to prevent concussion. The high-quality, detachable liner assures the rider of perfect comfort and the 3D IAS system allows individual adjustment in height and width for an optimal fit. With its matt-finish outer shell, this casual helmet design is a real eye-catcher and guarantees a stylish appearance.
