Arika Crystal Cool Water Rug

Cleverly designed, water-activated rug that supports gentle cooling. It can be used in combination with other cooling methods such as offering water, providing shade, targeted hosing and hand-walking to help prevent overheating and dehydration. Unique water-reactive crystals inside the rug pockets swell when immersed in water, creating a cooling effect. The rug is not fully lined to promote evaporation and breathability. The lightweight, breathable mesh outer layer encourages airflow to support heat dissipation and evaporation. Before first use, soak in water for four hours to activate the crystals. The rug can be reactivated multiple times by re-immersing in water. Not suitable for turnout. Never leave your horse unattended while using this rug.
