Product description
Sweet iron is a special steel that oxidises on contact with air and moisture. Sweet iron develops a sweet-tasting surface that is perceived as pleasant by horses. It promotes saliva production, supports natural chewing activity and can significantly improve acceptance of the bit, particularly popular with sensitive or young horses. The rings are made of stainless steel.
This single-jointed loose ring snaffle is versatile for everyday training. The freely moving rings ensure mobility in the horse’s mouth and allow for direct yet finely adjustable action.
The single-jointed mouthpiece acts on the tongue and bars and supports clear rein aids. The mobility of the rings results in a slightly more indirect transmission of the rider’s aids, which can contribute to more refined communication.
Features:
- Sweet iron promotes salivation and chewing activity
- Single-jointed for clear rein aids
- Loose rings for increased mobility and refined action
